1Introduction & Electronic Agreement
This document is an electronic contract governed by the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. It does not require any physical or digital signatures.
By browsing or placing an order on navraangi.com ("Platform", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Cancellation Policy, and our Returns & Defect Claims Policy.
2Surat Craftsmanship & Textile Nuances
All garments sold on Navraangi are designed and dispatched from Surat, Gujarat—the textile capital of India. Our collections feature fine mulmul cottons, chanderi silks, chikankari embroidery, and artisan hand-blocks.
3Order Cancellations & Logistics Freight Recovery (Prepaid vs COD)
Because logistics carriers bill merchants for both forward freight and return-to-origin (RTO) reverse freight once a parcel leaves our Surat facility:
Pre-dispatch cancellations receive a 100% full refund. For orders cancelled mid-transit, 50% of the courier freight is deducted from the refund balance. For orders refused at the doorstep, the full delivery and handling charge is deducted as an administrative processing fee.
COD orders may be cancelled before courier handover with zero fee. If a buyer cancels mid-transit or refuses an untampered COD parcel at their doorstep, their contact profile and address are permanently disqualified from placing future COD orders across Navraangi, and the unrecovered two-way logistics charge (flat ₹149 carrier rate) is recorded against their profile under Section 73 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
4Defective & Wrong Item Return Requirement
Returns are strictly accepted for defective or wrong items received. Returns due to change of mind are not eligible. All return and exchange claims require an uninterrupted unboxing video recorded from the sealed outer package and must be submitted via our Returns Portal within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
5Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of India. Any claims, legal proceedings, or disputes arising from transactions on Navraangi shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Surat, Gujarat, India.
